Thanks to my adopted family (the Boeks) I was able to celebrate the Fourth of July American-style, with Japanese flair (although not shown, squid was later thrown on the barbie--tentacles and all!). Here is a group shot with the Boek family, De la Cruz family, Henry, and me.

1.) Kuya Manny grillin' up the meat, 2.) It's all about the food!! 3.) Pastor Jeremiah was kind enough to buy some good ol' Coca-Cola just for me (being from Atlanta, I can't drink any other brand)! Thanks, Pastor J! 4.) Justus, Jazz, and me sportin' our Old Navy flag tees

Justus! Isn't he a cutie?

We even got to light sparklers! What a great celebration.

Isn't it a wonderful world? You can find Coke almost anywhere! :) We had a little party at my supervisor's house with the volunteers. We just watched a movie and ate some sandwiches, nothing as cool as what you guys did.
God bless!!!
Of course you are our adopted daughter, we love you lots. And yes that Pastor Jeremiah must love you lots to remember your COKE :) Nothing is funnier than watching my boys eat squid tentacles....hehehe
