Kyoto culture

The other weekend I got to visit my Uncle and Aunt in Kobe, where they've been living for the past 9 years. Here is a picture of the whole family in front of Kodaiji temple in Kyoto: Aunt Bea & Uncle Pocholo, and cousins Lucas, Luis, and Javier.

(L-R) A Japanese man ringing the bell to wake up the gods before praying; Kiyomizu-dera temple; Geisha (traditional Japanese artist-entertainers); Walking through the bamboo trees; Twins Luis and Javier in front of Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion Temple); A 600-year-old bonsai tree (notice the shape resembles a ship with sails); Taxi driver/tour guide playing "Sakura" on the flute; Chinatown in Kobe; Yakiniku at the house. Although I didn't have Kobe beef, I had beef in Kobe! =)
