In January I went to Shizuoka, where our organization had its annual meeting. On the road trip there, we had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. The resort where we stayed was owned by Yamaha, so there were nice keyboards all throughout the place for guests to play on. Lunch and dinner in the dining hall was OISHII (delicious!). In the evenings, a group of us would get together to play a card game called "Daifugo," the Japanese version of "Presidents" or "Pond Scum," depending on who you learned it from.
We all had a great time learning, relaxing, and catching up with friends. Below are the faces of the Journeymen in Japan. Top to bottom: Amy, Eileen, Josh, and Liz!
